SLP LEVEL 1 1.1.1.1
SLP Level 1 Preparation
(STANAG 6001)
Level 1 is usually required for:
-
Initial entry or qualification
-
Basic training
-
First postings

The exam does not test fluency or general conversation.
It tests whether the candidate can use simple, clear, controlled English in routine and predictable military situations.

The examiner expects the candidate to be able to:
-
Understand basic instructions
-
Describe duties, locations, and activities
-
Give short, direct, functional answers
-
Maintain control and avoid improvising
-

Using simple English is not a problem.
Being disorganised, vague, or off-task is.
Why candidates fail Level 1
-
Talk too much
-
Answer without structure
-
Try to “sound good” instead of being clear
-
Prepare with general English or academic materials
-
Do not understand what the examiner is actually assessing

The problem is not their level, but how they prepare.
What our teaching focuses on
Only on real SLP exam tasks, aligned with STANAG 6001, such as:
-
Giving and understanding clear instructions
-
Describing routines, duties, and locations
-
Producing short, controlled responses
-
Answering exactly what is asked
Every exercise has one goal: passing SLP Level 1.
Who the course is for
It is for people who:
-
Need SLP Level 1 as a professional requirement
-
Have little margin for error
-
Want direct, efficient preparation
-
Do not want to waste time
The method is:
-
Exam-aligned
-
Military-focused
-
Disciplined and structured
-
Corrected clearly and directly
The goal is not to “learn more English”, but to demonstrate the required level and close the requirement.

This course trains Spanish military personnel to meet the exact Level 1 SLP requirement efficiently, without wasting time on English that is not tested.
