 We do not offer general English courses. All training is designed around exam criteria, task performance, and examiner expectations.

Is this general English or exam-specific training?

This is exam-specific training only.
 Lessons focus on what is assessed in the exam: task fulfilment, structure, information control, and performance under time pressure.
 If your goal is general fluency or conversational English, this academy is not the right fit.

Who are these courses for?

Our courses are designed for:
Military personnel
Law enforcement personnel
Candidates preparing for JFLT or STANAG 6001
You should already have a basic working level of English AT minimum A1. We train how to pass the exam.

How is your training different from other courses?

Are lessons rolling or fixed programmes?

We offer two formats:
1. Skill-based sessions (gym model)
 One lesson = one skill focus (e.g. listening inference, notice writing, structured speaking).
 You book what you need.
2. Intensive courses
 Short, high-focus programmes run close to exam dates, usually in the final preparation phase.
These are separate. They run on two week cycles and you have to attend all 8 sessions.

Do I need a diagnostic before starting?

For Level 3, yes.
 A diagnostic is mandatory to determine readiness.
For Levels 1–2, diagnostics are recommended but not always required.

Why is Level 3 training selective?

Because Level 3 is not about effort or time spent.
 It is about demonstrated performance against strict descriptors.
Not all candidates who want Level 3 are ready to perform at Level 3 yet.
 Our responsibility is to be honest about that.

Is the feedback direct?  Yes.

Feedback is:
clear

We do not soften feedback to protect confidence.
 Accuracy matters more than comfort.

Do accent or pronunciation matter?

Accent does not matter.
 Pronunciation only matters if it affects clarity or comprehension.
Examiners assess meaning, structure, and task fulfilment, not whether you sound native.

Can I combine lessons with self-study materials?

Yes.
 Our workbooks, listening packs, and mock exams are designed to support self-study and integrate directly with lessons.
Many candidates combine:
independent practice
targeted skill sessions
diagnostics
This is often the most efficient approach.

Is this suitable if I’ve failed before?

Yes — especially if you’ve failed before.
Many repeat candidates fail not because their English is weak, but because:
they misunderstand the task
they lose structure under pressure
they answer the wrong question
This academy is designed to correct those issues.

Do you teach all levels?

Yes. We work with Levels 1, 2, and 3, but each level is treated differently.
Levels 1–2 focus on skill development within exam tasks
Level 3 is treated as a performance threshold, not a guaranteed outcome
Level 3 training is selective and requires readiness.
*Level 4 is only for 1-to-1 lessons and charged at our premium rate of 80 euro an hour

Do you guarantee a pass for JFLT / STANAG 6001?

No serious exam trainer should ever guarantee an exam result.
 We guarantee honest assessment, direct feedback, and training aligned with examiner criteria.
